Typical Sunday

Today was a typical sunday. We got up early to go to church. They had donuts after the sermon, so we had some of those. After a little break we went on our bike ride to the Y and worked out. As I got back I talked to my parents for a long time. The rest of the day I just relaxed and didn‘t really do anything

Setting up a fence

Today started early. I got up at 8 and Roger picked me up to help at a house that Rotary is fixing up. We fixed this guy’s carport and set up a fence in the backyard. It took us quite a while and I think I got some sunburn from the heat. At about 1 we were done and Roger drove me to the Y. There I had a great workout, but the usual weightlifters there were just flexing on the whole gym. They were deadlifting 550 lbs easy. After I was done with my workout I swam for about 45 min. By the time I got home it was already late afternoon. I had a protein bar as a snack and for dinner I had some leftovers and a protein shake dissolved in water for the first time. It didn’t taste good. I watched and played some overwatch before going to bed.

Annoying day

Today was a very annoying day. I was kind of tired during school. We had a test in Math and English. On top of that I just didn’t feel too good. I had a little time before Andy and I were going to the Y. Everything was going good except I wasn’t able to bench until very late. By the time I got around to it I wasn’t able to lift anything remotely close to my usual weight, which really pissed me off. We had some tacos for dinner and I’m trying to get a good and long sleep in tonight.

Killer leg workout

Today was a good day. I had a good rest in the bus and I didn’t do anything in Culinary. I stretched a lot in my gym class and lunch was a lot of fun. My Geometry bought pizza for another class because they had the best test score, so they whole room smelt like pizza. In weightlifting I tried to improve my form on deadlifts and work on my clean. After school I worked out legs. Everyone was using the squat racks so I was already halfway done with my workout before being able to do squats. Even then I had an amazing workout and I can already feel my legs burning. We had chicken for dinner and it was pretty good.

Burned my hand

Today was a bad day at first. We had a demo in Culinary and at the end we were allowed to try the cookies she made. I tried a marmelade cookie and as I was picking it up it crumbled in my hand and the super hot marmelade got on my hand and burned it. It really hurt and for the following two lessons I was putting my hand under water. The rest of the day was pretty much normal and my hand stopped hurting. After school I had about an hour to get ready for the rotary social. The social was pretty cool and I had quite some fun, also there was a lot of great food.

200 bench

Today was a really good day. I woke up and I wasn’t too tired. I slept pretty well on the bus and the first two lessons were uneventful. During weightlifting I benched and I upped my max to 200lbs, which I am really proud of. Now I only have 25 more pounds to reach my goal. The rest of the school day was the same as always. We finished the Great Gatsby today in English class. On the way home the bus driver was trying to freeze us again, but today I asked him if he could turn it up a little. So we’ll see how that’ll turn out. It was raining today so Andy drove me to the Y. I had a really great shoulder workout today. For dinner we had some amazing steak with potatoes.

Sucky Day

Today wasn’t a good day. I woke up very tired. I slept all the way on the bus and I even had to be woken up by the time we got to school. Before school started I slept again and I didn’t hear the bell. I got better during the next couple lessons but on top of being tired my mood wasn’t too good either. During weightlifting I squatted and at the end I had some kind of a headache that dragged it’s way through my whole day. On the ride home my busdriver was apparently trying to freeze us to death, because despite a jacket I was still freezing cold. I rode to the Y and had a really great workout today. At home we had leftovers for dinner. Andy and I talked a lot after dinner today, which was kind of fun. Now I’m going to bed early to maybe make up for some missed sleep.

Bike ride in Gainesville

We got up early again today to go to Gainesville. First, we visited Tessa (one of their daughter’s) and then we went to church with her and her fiancé. After church we got some pretty good lunch, even though it took a while. Then we just went around the city and looked at their soon to be new home and their wedding place. In the afternoon the three of us went for a bike ride along a trail in Gainesville. We rode a total of 22 miles and the ride was pretty amazing. I had a lot of fun. By the time we were done we headed home and grabbed some burritos for dinner on the way.

Rise against Hunger

Today I had to get up early to go to the Rise against Hunger event, where we packed a total of 22000 meals for people with food insecurity in different countries. It took us about 1 hour to do it because they had a process of doing it. After we were done Andy, his friend Johnny and I went to the Biscuit Barn for breakfast. I had a great breakfast burrito and some pancakes. By the time we got home we were both tired and so we both took a nap. After the nap we rode our bikes to the Y. I had an amazing workout and I improved in every exercise again. That preworkout is really doing its job. We rode our bikes back home and I had a protein bar for dinner because it was too early for me to eat. Then I played video games with Moritz and after we were done I had a little dinner. Now I have to go to bed early again because we are going to Gainesville tomorrow.

First preworkout

Today was a nice day. School was pretty much average. After school I went straight to the Y. That’s when I first tried my new preworkout powder. At first I didn’t feel it, but then my body started itching for like 15 minutes. After that I was super focused and had a lot of energy. I improved in every single exercise today. By the time I was done with my workout Connie and Andy came, so I decided to do a relaxing swim. I did 12 laps today. At home I had a nice dinner and now I’ll watch Overwatch and play Overwatch once my friend wakes up!
