Today was an odd day at school. The periods were all mixed up but nothing really happened. Someone stole my charger though and I‘m very angry about that. I used that anger in my workout. I had a really great leg day. Afterwards I had pulled pork for dinner and we had somebody come over.
Finals begin!
Today I took my first final in school. It was in weightlifting class and I had a perfect score. Sharday brought me ramen for lunch. I couldn’t heat it up though so I got stomach ache after a while, it was totally worth it anyways. After school I had a really good pull workout. We had pulled pork and fried okra for dinner, but I also ate a chicken leg from yesterday.
Bad day at the gym
Today was a decent day. We were kind of able to sleep in today at Mike’s house. Before everybody left we went to the beach a little to hang out. The citrus county people went to chick-fil-a and they kicked me out because I didn’t have any shoes on. I went to the Y as soon as I got home. Unfortunately, my workout wasn’t very good and I was generally in a bad mindset today. I relaxed at the pool a little before I got picked up. At home I had the first real meal in 3 days and it was amazing. I also had a great talk with my host dad tonight.
SeaCamp Day 3
Today was a pretty short today at SeaCamp. We had a little breakfast and went straight to our program. We waded through the water, played catch and snorkeled a little. Then we had lunch and cleaned our rooms before we had to say goodbye. Luckily, we met both other groups again on our way back. One at a gas station and the other one at a souvenir shop. We drove all day and are staying the night in Tarpon Springs. Everyone‘s kind of depressed right now because it was so many goodbyes in one day.
SeaCamp Day 2
Today was a very long day. We had breakfast, which wasn’t really good and definitely not enough for me. Then we had a workshop to teach us about climate change and a short workshop on how to dive. Afterwards we had lunch and all they gave us was 1 hotdog. Not enough at all for me so I asked for some more and also had a PB&J. Next on our agenda was a boat ride to snorkel and see the Coral Riff. It was impressive to see even though I don’t like being in the water. By the time we got back and were able to take a shower, I was already kind of sunburnt on my back. We had noodles with tomato sauce for dinner and watched a movie about the effects of climate change on the coral riffs.
SeaCamp Day 1
Today was the first day of SeaCamp. We started out at 6 in the morning and had about a 10 hour drive before us. We had some pauses but finally arrived in the Keys at about 5 pm. We had a bonfire and played some volleyball. Now I‘m trying to get some sleep in a sleeping bag in florida without air conditioning. Wish me luck!
Quick leg workout
Today was a normal day at school. It was also the definite last time to work out in school, which was sad. Afterwards I went home to get my stuff for the trip. We went for a workout and after my first 2 exercises we were about to leave, so I rushed through the last big exercise. We walked to Walmart and visited the new Wawa store. Afterwards we had pizza for dinner at annas house and had some dessert. We played a little soccer and hung out a little.
Progressive Overload
Today was an ordinary day at school. Although, I ran out of bread in the morning and we had some work to do in school, nothing much happened. After school I had a really great shoulder workout. I’m now trying to really implement progressive Overload into my workouts, to increase my strength constantly. I had stew for dinner and a lot of fruit. I watched a little netflix and Overwatch in the evening.
My belt is back!
Today was pretty much like yesterday. I watched netflix in school. After school I worked out. Luckily, I found my belt at the Y and I was soo happy. My back hurt a little after deadlifts, but everything seems to be fine now. I had stew and a lot of fruit for dinner. Afterwards I watched a little OverwatchLeague, which was fun.
Lost friend
Today was a good day. I was pretty tired in the morning, but we didn’t do anything in school, so I just watched netflix all day. My workout was pretty amazing today. I really tried to implement progressive overload into my workout. At home I had a little spare time to relax before dinner. Afterwards I got ready for tomorrow when it hit me. I lost my dear friend, my weightbelt. I searched the whole house and I couldn’t find it. My last hope is that’ll be at the Y waiting for me. I pray for him!!
