Today was a day full of thinking and talking. In school I didn’t do too much, we had a substitute in history and during the other lessons I had lots of time to think and look up stuff. I stumbled upon some great ideas. I want to teach myself to do my taxes myself and I think i found a job/ study that I might apply for. Other than that I talked a lot with my host mum and we played Yahtzee, plus in one of my games I finally beat a super hard boss enemy, so I was pretty happy about that.

Labor Day was a pretty chill but fun day. First I slept in, ate a huge breakfast (pancakes, PB&J toasts, bacon) and then I went to the gym. Afterwards I used the day for decorating my blazer and watching some series since it was raining all the time. My hostmother wanted to make cookies and I decided to help her. So now we have Chocolate Chip and Butterscotch Cookies. After supper I went on relaxing, getting prepared for school tomorrow.

Today was quite a packed day. I got up at 8 in the morning, went to the gym and by 11 Pipo and his host parents picked me up so we could go to Rainbow River. Arriving there we had lunch ( burgers, hot dogs, chips, sodas), so we’re ready for going tubing along the river. It was a calm but funny two hours floating down the cold, clear river, sometimes getting wet by an water gun. Afterwards we went back on the back of a pickup-truck. Then we went in the river again to swim and do kayaking, paddle boarding etc. I was dropped off at home by about 7, just in time for the feast Hazel cooked. It was roasted chicken with potato casserole and delicious stuffing.

After getting up at 10 and eating a little breakfast, I went to the gym. Post Workout I relaxed a little at the pool, tanning and making myself some ramen. Then I watched a little football and we went to the grocerie store buying pizza for dinner. I burnt myself with the pizza and now my mouth is all burned. Then me and Hazel played skipbo and now I’m going to bed early for tomorrow might be an exhausting day.

So school was fun today. We wrote a math test, that was pretty easy and we had the whole lesson for it. Then at lunch I met some new people, who were really nice and funny. Then we spent panther hour in our home room doing nothing. After school I went to the gym and it was the first time since a week that it didn’t rain when I wanted to leave, though now it is raining like heck. I cooked spaghetti carbonara for my host parents and the liked it. And now I’m preparing for my long weekend since it’s labour day on monday, which means no school and 3 days to sleep in for me!

Today was a fun day. I met a new friend and we might hang out on the weekend. Other than that i played a lot of basketball and now my neck hurts a little from looking up. Plus we wrote a test in geometry, which was pretty easy. Then after school me and my host parents went grocery shopping and I got myself some ramen and 4 new types of sodas. The rest of the day I spent watching series, playing dice games and eating!

Today was a casual day. School was normal nothing really happened. We wrote some tests, we had to run 1 mile and the workout was fun. After school it was leg day so I‘m looking forward to my free day tomorrow. After dinner I talked to Hazel a lot and we played games.

Today was a really boring day. School was just sitting around mostly doing nothing because the assignments we had to do could be finished in about 10 minutes. So I used my spare time to look at new shoes, which was kind of fun but I’m still deciding on which to buy. Other than that I went to the gym, so now my back and my shoulders are really sore and I sound like I’m 90. Now I’m going to play cards with my host mom.

So week 3 of school started. It‘s becoming more and more boring as its always the same but still I‘m having a hard time making real friends. Afterwards I did my usual workout and then watched a little netflix, talked to my hostparents etc.  Today my host dad and I had to cook spaghetti and meatballs and it was fun.

Take me out to the ballgame! So today we got up early to go to the Baseball game of Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Socks. We went there early to have a rotary tailgate party with hotdogs, soda and beer (that we couldn’t drink). At the game I bought a Baseball for 14$. The game was pretty fun even though there was no homerun and the Red Socks got rolled pretty hard. 9-1. After the game we came home at about 7 o’clock, so we just ate supper watch some TV (Baseball). Now I’m going to bed early so I can be ready for my next week of school.
